Which bears take sublimation
Only the 42cm Tummi Bears with a white stomach patch are listed here. The patch is polyester and takes a full colour sublimation print; characters without the patch are for embroidery and HTV only and are in the main Tummi Bears collection.
Print area
The belly panel is 15cm by 15cm. The zipped bottom lets you remove the stuffing, press the panel flat and restuff, so the print sits cleanly without crushing the plush.
Press settings (guide)
Unzip and remove the stuffing, slide a heat resistant board or folded card inside behind the patch, and press the patch flat: 180 to 190C (356 to 374F), 40 to 60 seconds, light to medium pressure, with butcher paper above and below. Do not let the press slide, and keep the transfer inside the patch so the plush is not touched. Peel hot, let it cool, then restuff and zip. Settings are a guide only. Always check the manufacturer settings for your heat press, printer, ink and paper, and test one blank before a run.
